Regulations of the activity of the unit of international patients
These Regulations are based on the provisions of Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 24 of the Law on Medicines, Pharmaceuticals, Foodstuffs and Foodstuffs, approved in 1334, and subsequent amendments to Articles 11, 12, 13 and 16 of Article 1 of the Law on the Organization and Duties of the Ministry of Health, Treatment Medical education approved in 1988 and Articles 3 and 8 of the Law on the Establishment of the Ministry of Health, Medical and Medical Education, and its Executive Board, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Year 1365, and the Regulations of the Year 1366, the Single Section of the Law on the Determination of the Duties and Duties of Professionals in Medical Professions and Associated Entities, The Islamic Council of Iran and the 3rd Law of the Medical Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran approved in 2004 are as follows:

Article 1) Definitions:
1-1. In these Regulations, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education is referred to as the “Ministry of the Interior”.
1- Health Tourism Leadership Council: Consisting of the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, the Deputy Director of Tourism of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, the Deputy Consul General for Parliamentary Affairs and Iranians of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the chairman of the medical system that follows the agreement. The date of 5/1/1393 was signed by the ministers of health and medical education, foreign affairs, the head of the cultural heritage organization and the head of the organization of the medical system, attached and presented.
1.3 The Department of Homeland Security is referred to as the “Deputy”.
1-4. It is called the “university deputy” to the deputy of medical treatment of universities and faculties of medical sciences and health services.
1-5. The office of supervision and accreditation of medical treatment is called the “Office”.
1-6. The Office of Health Tourism is referred to as the “Bureau” of the Office of Health Monitoring and Accreditation.
1-7. The Department of Medical Recognition Commission, Section 20 of the Law on Medicines, Pharmaceuticals and Food and Drug Affairs, adopted in 1334, and the subsequent amendments, is the “Legal Commission”.
1-8. Permission of the International Patients Unit is a legal agreement that is issued by the Office in accordance with the prescribed conditions to the Hospital of the applicant for the provision of health tourism services to international patients as a license to provide health tourism services to international patients. Abbreviation: “International Patient License”.
1-9. To the General / General Hospital with a specialist specialization, the applicant for the provision of health services to international patients (in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations and the establishment and maintenance of the Hospital of Venice and other regulations issued by the Ministry) is briefly referred to as the “Hospital” .
International Patient Unit (IPD): A unit in the hospital whose task is to provide the necessary coordination to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to foreign patients.
1-11. International Patient: An external person referred to the hospital to receive diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Note 1: Afghan patients who have not traveled to Iran for medical treatment and reside in other ways in Iran are not considered as international patients.
Note 2: Iranians residing abroad can also be considered as international patients upon their request.
12-12. International Clinical Disease Expert (IPD): A person established in the International Patient Unit who is responsible for tracking all services provided to an external patient during hospitalization.
IPD Physicians / Physicians: In International Patient Centers, in order to expedite all diagnostic, therapeutic and caring services associated with the patient admitted, in addition to the physician, other physicians / physicians will be required to follow the instructions of the physician International Patient Treatment (IPD) is responsible for this task.
1.14. Medical Doctor: A physician who is responsible for patient treatment and is responsible for all medical duties.
1-15 Package Therapy / Service Package: The package of diagnostic treatments to be provided to the International Patient, which includes all patient costs, including health and welfare services, is calculated as a package and, upon referral, the patient’s expense is provided to the patient. Internationalized.
1.16. Validity facilitator: A company or travel service office that provides the necessary permits from the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (in accordance with the Professional Healthcare Certificate Certification Style Sheet No. 28579/932400 dated 3/12/93). ) And accepts a contract with the hospital to bring international patients to the hospital.
Article 2. Description of Duties and Qualifications
2.1 International Patient Hospital (IPD Doctor)
2-1-1- Acceptance conditions
• Have at least a GP
• Hospital staff
• Sufficient proficiency in English or the predominant language of patients who come to the hospital
• The introduction of a qualified person during a sentence by the head of the hospital as an IPD physician
2-1-2- Description of the duties of the IPD physician
• Patient’s visit at the first hour of hospitalization
• Co-ordination with the doctor and getting the initial instructions
• Co-ordination with the head nurse and the nursing office to perform paraclinical interventions and patient counseling as soon as possible.
• A daily sick visit
• Co-ordination with the e-health system and hospital site to prepare the electronic record
• Collaborate with your doctor to prepare a summary of the case and the patient’s medical records in English
• Follow-up of emergency events that may occur within 24 hours for the patient
• Provide patient information about how to complain
Note 1: If the number of patients and the duration of the presence of an IPD physician in the hospital are not commensurate with the cost-effectiveness at a given time frame and the number of employees employed for this unit is not economical.
